ABOUT PHA
The Pierceton Heritage Association (PHA) is an Indiana Domestic Nonprofit Corporation dedicated to connecting Pierceton School alumni and residents of the Town of Pierceton to preserve the combined legacy and history of the Schools and the Community. We operate under the 501(c)(3) exemption of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, an Indiana corporation.
One of our primary objectives is to support the staff and students of the Pierceton Elementary School which was built on the grounds of the old high school buildings in 2015.
Membership in the Association is not restricted to graduates of Pierceton High School, but is open to all persons who have ever attended any class in any grade at the Pierceton School as well as persons in and around the Town of Pierceton. The Association also honors the staff and the students who attended and were graduated from the school building that stood on the same site from 1870 until 1921.
PHA has no membership fees and no requirements for members other than to be open to news about the Pierceton school buildings and students and the town that supported us for more than 150 years.. Since at least 1893, Pierceton School alumni have held a banquet in May or June every year to honor the graduating class from 50 years earlier. After our 2022 banquet, a Standing Committee of the PHA Board of Advisors began planning and hosting all banquets.
